CPC AND VYCOM DOUBLE LABORATORY SPACE

Compression Polymers and Vycom have expanded their lab to twice the previous area. This new facility is located next to the new compounding facility and the Vycom extrusion plant.

The facility will provide support to the production facility, QC incoming raw materials, QC outgoing sheet, check pigments and run basic physical property evaluations. The equipment in the lab includes a press for molding plaques, a brae bender bench top extruder, several color computers, a Tinius Olson Tensile/Compression tester, instrumentation for measuring impact strength, two roll mill for processing samples, XRF-x-ray analysis for measuring formula ingredients and a Moisture analyzer microscope.
